why would anyone use semtex plastic explosives on a beautiful 767????

I was explosives expert in the military before I started to fly MiG's...
Its not good for you to play with semtex and blasting caps  8-)

You may take a look at EZdok Camera Addon, that's what most video guys are using and it offers quite some effects for normal flying too.
Together with TrackIR it will cost you some money though, but may enhance the whole sim by a large margin.
