I just installed the new 707-300C and E3 expansion packs and they have no landing gear!

Anybody else having this problem??

Yes, my 707-300C also, floating over the tarmac. No landing gear. ;D

I'm having this problem with the landing gear also and no textures show up on any of the new expansions. Only the E3 and BOAC show with textures but it's annoying they are floating in the air. :D

I am also having this problem with the landing gear. But by checking the version of the 707 base pack I found out that the last version is 1.3. My installation (base pack) is showing the number 1.2, so I am downloading the last version and will try out ift this solves the problem (expansion version number is 1.3!).

I just noticed the new Base Pack release too - 1.3 - that may be what the problem is

I've just downloaded and installed the 707 Base Pack (v1.3), E-3, VC-137 and Cargo and they all have the landing gear displaying.

Yep - that's it - installing the 1.3 Base Pack fixed it

So what's the moral of this story?

(1) �CS should put a note "Be sure to install Base Pack V1.3 first before installing the expansion for previous buyers who have 1.2"

or

(2) �Downloaders "RTFRA" ("Read the f*****g release annoncement") ;D ;D ;D

BE SURE TO INSTALL LATEST VERSION (1.3) OF THE 707 CAPTAIN (707-300) BASE PACK FIRST, BEFORE THE EXPANSION MODEL INSTALLATION.

I had a slight advantage though. When I bought the 767-200 Expansion Model, it was released at the same time as an update for the 767-300 Base Pack was released. So it was a bit of a clue as to how Captain Sim does it. ;)

Hi, I bouth in january 2011, a 707-300 Captain that is working perfect, and yesterday I buy a Cargo expansion, but there are no land gears visible and the other paints are totaly black only the BOAC is showing, please help, I�ve seen another answer that sad to download the V 1.2, but I got the aircraft 2011, how can i fix this problem. :-/

Well, you can download 1.3. I'm not sure what's going on with the textures, but as for the landing gear, all you need to do is reload the aircraft (Aircraft>Select Aircraft, and click OK).

NEOTINS,

You need to download and install the 707-300 Base Pack v1.3, using
the Extended Download Service, then install the 707-300C.

I had the same problem, but thanks to Mark I was able to fix the problem.
