Have you turned the DNS OFF (Function Selector Switch) on the OH panel?
On the DNS panel on the Forward Aisle Stand, what position is the NAV Controller switch in, on the Doppler Navigation Controller?
I'm not sure if this helps, but the G/S indicator was visible after I switched it to MAN or STBY.
