If you´re interested in more weapons and bombs, you should download the weapons pack by Christopher Sykes (weapons4.zip) on flightsim.com or avsim.com, etc
They work perfectly with this addon!
I have my A-10 equipped with snake eyes that match the original HUD plus Zunies, Hydras, AIM 9 and a GAU-8 now.... ;D
I´m working on the AGM 65 next.
Please remember that using missiles like the AIM-54 does not make sense: You will only see a missile leaving your aicraft since the target will be BVR....
Unfortunately, the bomgsight that comes with the csweaponspack is still inop. I´m looking forward to get a working sight with the next update and maybe a simple HUD for 1st or 2nd generation military aircraft. Don´t you think CS?!?  ;)

Just to add that all weapon models that are true simobjects will work with our weapon system. Of course some setup required.

What do you have to do to make your own weapons? I know it's complicated but it would be neat to learn.  :)

I'm using gmax and FSX gamepack (part of the FSX SDK) to create 105mm shell for a Howitzer on the AC130 Spectre gunship and the 40mm Bofor shell.

I'm having trouble finding sounds to be used with them at the moment. A rocket sound just doesn't quit suit them, although it will do IF I can't find any.

I don't have the FSX SDK. I have Deluxe edition, and I searched everywhere, but couldn't find it. :(

I find it on my FSX DVD1 in the folder named SDK.

X:\SDK where X = DVD drive.

I just uploaded a modified CSweapons.xml file with all of Chris Sykes weapons and a few of my own included. Check out the "free liveries" heading for its availability.

Do you have the WE177A (nuke) covered as well? I don't find it when I do a rapid word search on your text files...but maybe you renamed it differently.

Yes, its at the very bottom of the list. I didn't know how to associate one of the available nuclear fx files. If you figure out how, let me know and I will add it.

I am use to installing all files.  And did just as was required for the weapons pack.  Have used before in missions.  However I did make a backup of the csweapons.xml  and pasted the new massive weapons in as stated.  However it won't shoot?  I went though the csweapons.xml to see if there was a missing something, do not see anything out of place.

If you are seeing 0000 for the amount of ammo, then there is a syntax error in the CSWeapon.xml file.
It is not going to be fun looking for the error if you have added a lot of extra weapons to it. :(

Hi everybody!   Does anyone know of a Sam missile addon similar to those found in mission addons like those seen in Abacus Flight Deck 5 or the Vietnam missions made by RDJ Sims that could be added  to anyplace in Free Flight in FSX? I think it would be  great to be able to add Sam missiles anywhere and watch them launch as you fly. I may be asking too much of the flight sim world but maybe not. Hope someone out there will have some ideas on this.                       Dan Culver
