Questions - Are you using Vista/Windows 7? And is FSX installed in the default location of C:\Program Files (or C:\Program File (x86))? The answer to the above two question means there are more things needed to be done to be able to make the following changes. Otherwise, do this: Open the CSWeapon.xml in every aircraft you have added it to and change <Unlimited>0</Unlimited> to this <Unlimited>1</Unlimited>. You need to do this for each weapon included in the CSWeapon.xml. I did it by opening the CSWeapon.xml with Windows Notepad, CTRL+H, find <Unlimited>0</Unlimited> and replace with <Unlimited>1</Unlimited>. You can also open the unit.dat file (found in the FSX\Captain_Sim\weapon\loader\cfg folder) with Windows Notpad and use the same method as mentioned above, SAVE and from now on, every time you add Weapon for FSX to an aircraft, it will already have unlimited ammo. BACK UP THE ORIGINAL UNIT.DAT FILE BEFORE MODIFYING! Otherwise, you will need to reinstall/repair Weapon for FSX to get the original file back. |
