Thanks, Lou, that would explain why I never could figure out how this altimeters "knows" the actual runway height without getting a QFE value or something.

So the manuals should be redone and the function of the 10.000ft pointer should be enabled above 20.000ft or so (it goes to zero then while it seems to work below).
