The Autopilot is weird, to me, because sometimes when I switch to heading hold (from just using TACAN) the Mode Selector Switch starts flicking between TACAN and VOR and the Heading Hold switch flicks back to OFF. What I then do is turn the Autopilot OFF, turn the Heading Hold Switch ON, turn the Mode Selector Switch to VOR and then turn the Autopilot back ON. It works fine then, except for the AUTOPILOT DISCONNECTED warning light staying on. A couple of times recently the warning light has actually gone off!!!

I sometimes need to do this in the reverse. I'm using Heading Hold and switch to TACAN and get the same shenanigans as I said before and I need to turn the A/P OFF, Heading Hold Switch OFF, Mode Selector Switch to TACAN and A/P ON. A/P works fine again.

Beats me. But I could be doing some wrong and just don't know what it is.
