Thanks for your help but under no setting I have ran across does the ap track the heading bug. I can move the ap turn control ,the one with the B52 on it, and the plane will bank in that direction. However its extremely clunky in its operation. I will tinker more later but as you state there is not much to it. I can go from cold and dark to take off with the most complicated of planes so obviously something is wrong on my end. I will reinstall later and see if that clears it up.
