I was also unable to start and keep engines running and my control colum was locked. Also, the side windows wouldn't close. I did a complete uninstall (including the registry), then downloaded the exterior, then downloaded the B52 Driver update, installed both, now all is fine. Looks like there was originally a problem with my online verification which as a security feature, kept everything locked. Hope this helps

It is interesting to note that sometimes the download is not 100% complete even though it says it is. I had funny things happen on my 757-300 Expansion Pack that were only solved by getting new links and downloading it again and installing it from my new download.
