Title: C-130 X-perience not showing yokes in cockpit.
Post by Yipee Ki Yaa on Dec 9th, 2010 at 9:15pm
I just downloaded the C-130 X-perience from Captain Sim and the planes look amazing.  The only problem is that I can't get my joystick (Saitek AV8R Joystick) to be recognized by the aircraft so I can control the flight surfaces, the rudder works fine with my pedals (Saitek Pro Flight Rudder Pedals).  I think it might have something to do with the fact that the yoke is not showing up in the virtual cockpit at all?  I've tried unplugging and replugging the joystick and still can't control the ailerons.  Oh, and the buttons on the joystick that I have setup for engines, radio  and lights etc. are all working fine.  I'm running Win 7, FSX SP2 with Acceleration.

Have you tried switching to the 2D display with the icons.Their is an option to show the yokes or remove them.I wonder if this also affects the 3d (virtual cockpit)

Try uninstalling then reinstalling. And make sure that when you install it, install it by right clicking on it and selecting "Run as administrator" from the menu box that opens.

Hope this helps.

That was it Mark!  Thanks guys for responding.  I'm now not only enjoying the way the C-130 looks loving flying as well.  Thanks again everyone for replying and Merry Christmas!
