I park my 727 at whichever gate I feel like. There doesn't need to be a visible pushback tug there, an invisible one will do it.

Well I did a test with the 727-100 and the pushback works, but not as well as in other aircraft. It is very slow to pushback to a 90o angle. This is probably best said as The angle of the pushback turn is very shallow when compared to other aircraft like the CS757, which has a much tighter turning angle.

The difference is that the 757 does it in about 1/3 of the distance as the 727 does. :(

I also want to explain how I tried to see if I could make it better. I went to the [contact_points] section of the CS727-100 aircraft.cfg and changed entry number 8 (the 8th entry after the "=" sign) in the hope that it might help.
From the FSX SDK help file: 8 (180) Steering Angle The maximum angle (positive and negative) that a wheel can pivot (degrees).

[contact_points]
//point.0=1,   42.20,  0.00, -11.45, 1600, 0, 1.323, 45.00, 0.6, 1.30, 0.6, 4.0, 4.0, 0, 230.0, 270.0
point.0=1,   42.20,  0.00, -11.45, 1600, 0, 1.323, 70.00, 0.6, 1.30, 0.6, 4.0, 4.0, 0, 230.0, 270.0

In the highlighted area above 45o is the original and 70o is my change. It made no difference whatsoever. So unless Lou can inform us that this is true of the performance of the 727. I'll call it bug.
