If the Ground Handling Gauge is the one I think it is, I thought it had the capability to turn some of the sounds off, like the brake sound.

As for the FSX Push Back, it can take a while before it does start to turn, but I'm not sure just how long. Many time I press SHIFT+P and wait a while before pressing #1 or #2. And as long as I don't mouse click anything or press another key, this will work fine. This works on all my aircraft, the default ones and the Add-on ones. I don't understand why it doesn't work for you.
