It spoils the thread topic, but there are different ways of applying that uiautomationcore.dll fix. Perhaps there's some cure within trying some of them. I've just mentioned it because it solved the menu crashes for me, back then when I was new to Win7.

I've just added the dll to my FSX folder and that helped. No other edits done. Still wondering why Ron brought it up in the Civa thread though. Maybe I'm misunderstanding his post.  :-/
