Title: My last flight was full saved !! (CDU included)
Post by Cthulhus on Jul 10th, 2010 at 9:29am
Hey,

Just want to share something (I do not know, and I want to share it for those who do not know.)

Last time, during a long flight from Paris to Boston with a 767-300, just on final, my FSX crashed...

I was sad... But just before that flight, I have purchased a registered version of FSUIPC and I use the "autosave" feature included on this version of FSUIPC during that flight and I was surprised to see that all the save included the CDU data was saved ! All the overhead, fuels, switches, frequency, Legs ... ALL WAS SAVED and I finished my flight !

Now, I can enjoy long flight without the fear of a CTD !!!

That is good !

Hi Xavier.

I had heard that the registered version of FSUIPC could do that. I never thought to give it a try though. I shall now.

Thank you very much for sharing that with us.

That's good to know.  I wonder if there are other reasons to purchase the full version?

The possibilities of FSUIPC are bigger and I can't explain all...

but you can manager the life of your battery (and solve one bug with all CS product (with APU).
You can set some smooth setting on the weather
You can auto save every x minute your flight and keep all data
You can set your hardware like Vrisinight modules
You can set macro
and much much more...

We are working on total FSUIPC removal from our code to eliminate the FSUIPC compatibility issues once and for all.

Why ? That mean that the save feature will be removed?

I would like to hope that they will enable a "panel state" save within the saved flight. Or. Along side the saved flight.

The save state from another editor (PM.G) not work so well ... The FSUIPC one work like a charme.

I know that FSUIPC cause some trouble with your product depending the FSUIPC version you have but FSUIPC still a nice addition.

That is great news.  I think that will resolve a lot of problems.  And why aren't you on vacation with everyone else?
