Just purchased on line the C130 everything package and loaded it in my FSX and I see a lot of problems. In running it for 20 mins I have these issues:

1. sound - messed up. Volume changes for no reason, sound changes and is different when you return to 2d panel from outside view. Sounds sound distorted somewhat.

2. Air speed indicator jumping around alot in calm air

3. smoke trails from engines even when the engines are not running (in flight)

4. cutting off all fuel, engines keep running

5. on 2d panel, i click to remove the YOKE from the screen but it keeps re-appearing after I change views.

These are just some of the problems in the first 20 mins. I have been waiting along time to get this plane after reading the reviews and now I am very upset with all these problems.

My system:
Windows Vista 64 bit
EVGA GT285 video
6 gig ram
Intel Icore 965 overclocked to 3.7 ghz
dual monitors
150 watt sound system

Is there a patch or something for this? I had no issues installing it.

P.S. Forgot to mention that I know some complex planes don't like to be loaded first thing so I loaded a base FSX plane first and then loaded the C130; it didn't help.

After you create Support Request tickets and get your response be sure to post the KB reference numbers for all of us the see.  As for as I can guess, everything has already been reported and a response is someplace in the Knowledge Base with a reference number or two.

The problems with the sound is a real fun killer.  The others sound like annoyances to me. The Yoke removal is for that instance only,  when you move to other views or other windows it will return.  There are lots of good stuff if you look for it.  Welcome to the club.

I only have the sound problem.

I did have the yoke problem too, but I fixed that by renaming the Captain_Sim.c130.wheel.gau in the FSX\SimObject\Airplanes\CS_C130\panel folder to Captain_Sim.c130.wheel.ORIGINAL.gau and now they don't show up anymore in any of my C-130's.

NOTE: All the panel.cfg files point to the CS_C130\panel folder! e.g. from the CS_EX1_C130\panel\panel.cfg : gauge01=..\..\CS_C130\panel\Captain_Sim.c130.main!main, 15,0,10,10
