Hi Alex.

I'm assuming you mean the VC, so here goes.

Go to FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\CS_B757-200\. There are four model folders in there. You need to edit the model.cfg in the folders model.PW, model.RR & model.RRW (the first model folder doesn't have the model.cfg).

Comment out the line that refers to the interior model. Like this :-

[models]
normal=..\model\cs757_200PW
//interior=..\model\cs757_interior

You just need to add the // and you will no longer have a VC. Do this with the -300 & Freighter too if you have them.

Oh OK. Sorry about that. That will remove the Virtual Cockpit and Cabin. Not just the Cabin. I don't think you can in the 757. You can in the 767 using ACE though. I think that is what you might recall seeing. :(

From a technical standpoint, (and bear in mind I don't know how the boffins at Capt Sim have coded their VC) if the VC contains two sections ie, the cockpit and cabin as two seperate groups in their 3D model, they COULD assign visibility tags to them to allow a user to hide the cockpit or cabin.

That being said, if that's not coded in, then you're probably going to have a hard time.   // out the interior model file will completely remove the interior visual model, cockpit, cabin...the lot.

I'd be interested to hear what the support ticket throws up, but I'd hazard a guess that unless it's specifically coded in the 3d model, there's no way to manually hide a certain part of the aircraft.

But I've been known to be wrong!  lol  ::)
