Thanks for your detailed reply.  With regards to the "double load" method, isn't that hard to do if you're starting from the cold and dark?  don't you have to load the cold and dark flight, move it, etc., save it, and then load it twice more? And, I'll check the chime, I seem to recall hearing it.  But, shouldn't the crew messenger produces sounds and call outs then when I push the buttons? Reading the forum, I get the sense that the plane has an FO who makes the call out for V1, etc.   Best, Doug

You don't "double load" the flight.  Just the aircraft.   As you load the flight and you come alive at your airport, you use the menu to "select aircraft", then click on the plane you are sitting in and hit OK.  You will then have all your sounds.   No FO call outs are available, as far as I know.
