For FSX I use the following for Cold/Dark Cockpit:

CTRL+. (period) = Parking Brake
CTRL+SHIFT+F1 = Idle Cutoff <-- stops all engines, cold dark
CTRL+M = Master Battery/Alternator Switch, as required

Just start the plane with engine and power running then quickly : ctrl + ; (parking brake) Shift + F1 (Engines cut off) Shift + M (All avionics/power off) That take you 2 secs :)
