The KC-135 is probably one of the most important aircraft in the history of the USAF. Captain Sim is the perfect company to produce this since their quality could truly serve this wonderful aircraft justice.
The KC-135R with four CFM-56 engines of 22,000lb each makes the tanker one of the highest performance heavy aircraft ever made. At light weights its thrust to weight ratio can approach 1:1.6 and can reach 10,000fpm in a climb.

Is anyone else interested in this historic aircraft being produced by Captain Sim?

Maybe as an  expansion pack for the 707, if it ever gets released for FSX...

Some Air Forces have done that with the 707, but you wouldn't be able to sell it as a KC-135.

The 707 and KC-135 are similar in many areas, but they are indeed very different aircraft when you begin to consider the details. For example, the fuselage diameter of the KC-135 is slightly smaller than that of the 707. The wing of the KC-135 is shared only with the 707-120, all newer versions have an improved wing. The KC-135 also carries a lot more fuel, up to 209,543 pounds in 10 tanks.
The biggest thing that I would love to see is a detailed cockpit and accurate systems modeling. If the developers need any help I would be more than happy to help them with the technical details of the systems.

I know that I'd be willing to spend a lot of money for a good KC-135 model, but then again, I flew them for a long time.

As a aircraft mechanic on KC-135s and B-52s I have a question for the KC-135 finatics, inside the crew entry door just before you climb up to the flight deck, there is the aircraft data card stamped out by Boeing, on it the KC-135 is identified as what model number? And it was a minor scew up on boeing parts because one allready exists which was produced after the KC-135 conversion. (clue)

Was it the -120?

Please do an 1990s R-model with INS, a multiplayer capable boom and the option for the WARP wingtip drogue pods.  A PACER CRAG glass cockpit would be nice too!
