I noticed some people were having issues locating the startup checklist.  This threw me off too, but here is my understanding.

At the beginning, unless I'm very much mistaken, there is an abbreviated checklist for those who are familiar with the procedures.  Following this, starting at page 10, is another version with explanatory text for those who are adjusting to the aircraft.  Then, on page 16, the full startup process is detailed.

Hope this helps!  I'm not sure if what I'm thinking is what Captain Sim had in mind, but hopefully I'm right  :D
