So there I was! Drifting off course, heading for downtown Miami! I knew if I didn't find a place to land soon, I would drop out of the air like a stone and kill everyone on board! I found a runway in gliding distance and lined up with it, only to discover it was to short! I dropped my airspeed as low as possible, touched down at the very beggining of the runway, and immidiately put on the brakes, deployed the chute, and let loose the speed brakes, but even that wasn't enough! So, in a last minute effort, I made a sharp right off the runway and skidded to a halt! Sure the tires may need some work, but no one was hurt! 8-)
