autoland engages automatically once you're on the localizer and have intercepted the glide slope in the APPR AP mode.
The AutoLand indicator will light up green with LAND2 or LAND3 depending on the approach category. Must be Cat II/III ILS though, AutoLand cannot function without the glide slope signal. |
