Thats good news

Thank you Captain Sim team for your verry hard work to finalize Block F and i am sure every FS9 user wil be verry happy with the release of Block F

Just a question what is the latest FS9 version of Block B,C and E and can i still download the latest version.

I wish that your team was still working on a FS9 Boeing 767-200 and Boeing 767-300 that one was on my wish list.

Kind reagards, Michel

I bought it against my better reasoning as the initials arent that good on it given the price. Will let you know what it is all about and if they included all those OTHER things they promised as part of the original manual with the F or not...

Please download and install the "'757-200 Captain' Block F Upgrade" v1.0, (
37.45 Mb ):

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

32$... jesus it better come with napkins.

And it doesnt.. come with napkins that is. online activation fails, have to do it offline swapping keys and all that  ::)

None of the advanced lightning features are implemented.. same crappy lightmaps and dark cockpit at dusk and dawn. fail.

Flight model is excellent, love the rudder feel and it generally feels right.

performance hit of about 15fps... whatever. doesnt affect me but it will be unplayable for some people. just a heads up.

my VS is off and i cant figure out
1. why
2. why
3. why
4. why

Initial impressions are mixed and i am yet to actually program in a flight and see what happens.

I'm having the same issue for VS, that's OFF. Moreover, my autopilot is not engaging, thus LNAV and VNAV are not working to follow the CDU or FMC. Could someone help on this?.

Please align IRS then VS (and some other systems) will work.

We are sorry for the delay with manuals that will describe all these features. But the manuals are coming very soon.

That did it, thanks..

some more info:  for the AP to work, you need to put the IRS to "nav" when done with the aligning.
right now VNAV does not hold speed/thrust. basically my throttles are manual... ideas?

wheel brakes are being applied at random? while flying??

Hello,

" I am 20 minutes away from filing a fraud refund with my bank over this "
Please don't start to say things like this!

Okay we wait for a long time for BLOCK F but now it's released so i know there is also some little bugs that going to be repaired and then it will be okay.

If you don't want to buy CS products don't buy them!
Bye. ;)

Dear all:

Two years of wating for this release, it supose is a lot of time but still have bugs mentioned a long time ago like:

1.- We don't have a pedestal where is the trim located
2.- The APU sound doesn't disapered when it's off

I'm very disappointed for this issues even because the price of block F seems to be high.

Please captain sim, consider this issues posted al forum and develop a good product, you have a middle way to do things.

Yippeee!

Finally you guys gave us what we were waiting for so long  :D :D :D
Download and install went ok, took her right out for a maiden flight from Munich to Frankurt.
Wow, everything turned out to be as expected.

Congrats, well done. Now if you could give us the two remaining manuals, please  ::)

Hi all, just realized that Block F is released. I will give it a go ASAP. But before buying, i have a small question about Navigational database.

Which countries does it cover? and which airports? (I mean does it contain SIDs/STARs for all airports in the world or just some in particular countries?)

Thanks.

considering you dont even have it, do not ever tell me what to say about something i bought.

Vnav just refused to work (worked yesterday) and speed hold is non existent. The only issue resolved right now is the IRS align thing. Autoland works.

Also, no cabin after block f? yeah whatever. no point in even posting the bugs... clearly nobody has even tested this.

Trim is commanded by a pair of switches on the yoke - so will equate to trim buttons in MSFS.
There is an alternate Trim Stab levers (or switches for some 757 models) control on the pedestal as well.

However for standard operations the FMC will control pitch automatically. Manual pitch being more for emergencies or totally hand flying without the MCP or FMC.
