Whenever its raining and I'm in the VC, I get something like this..

With wipers on:

I've tried to tweak my graphics to see if thats the problem but I haven't come up with a solution :-/

You need to use the 'VCRain' textures from FS9 in place of the 'VCRain' textures in FSX SP2 (32 files in all). This is a known problem with many aircraft originally designed for FS9 and 're-designed' for use in FSX. Go to FSX/Textures folder to find these files. Hope this helps!

So I need to have FS9 to get the files, right? If so, I cant.. I lost disk 4 for FS9 >:( Id much rather use FS9 over FSX.

Go on the AVSIM.com forum and search for VCrain patch. Developers at Flight1 came up with their own fix that works! If you wait for anything from ACES studio or here you will grow very old before getting anywhere ::)
