Title: RAF XV292 - Generations
Post by Dax on Oct 12th, 2007 at 11:43am
Here is a few screenshots of a project I am working on for myself.  XV292 - Generations

This is a set of several repaints for the C-130K worn on XV292 which cover

Delivery scheme (Bare Metal)
First paint scheme (two tone Gloss brown)
70's colours (Green, grey with off white underside)
80's colours (Green and Grey)
80's airshow colours
25th aniversary colours
It's current scheme with the Aurstrian Airforce.

As I progress I might add more repaints to the list.

Here are a few screenshots of the 70's & 80's airshow colours.

Great package, Dax.   I really like these type packages, too bad there aren't more of them.   Neat to see the histroy an aircraft has.

We put an aircraft into the boneyard last year.  I got to do the research on the aircraft's history, then painted all the squadron's logo's of the commands that owned her on the nose.

Thanks P3.

I worked on XV292 on and off over the last twenty years.  I remember nearly all the schemes.  It had the best one with the 25th anniversary colours.  There is a few other aircraft in particular with nose art on that I might do as well.
