Title: NF-104?
Post by Earl_Needham on Sep 1st, 2006 at 7:25pm
Is there some way of using the CS 104 and simulating the NF-104 with it?  Especially the rocket motor -- is there a way of adding that rocket motor for "high-altitude test flights"?

Thanks,
Earl

Yes there is.......a method for doing this is using AirEd and increase your thrust output of your afterburner....... ;)

Cheers

Increasing the output of the engine is simple enough to do, but I was really hoping to add a rocket motor with about 6000 lbs thrust, rather than modify the existing engine.  Modifying the J-79 will shorten takeoff roll and increase climb rate unrealistically.

Thanks,
Earl
