Title: ACE changing every Airline
Post by mordin on Aug 19th, 2006 at 8:02pm
Hello,

Is it normal, that a changing in the ACE at ONE Airline is later at every Airline, for example: I switch off the winglet only at the American Airlines 757-200, but after that every Airline has no winglets any more?! Does anybody know if this is normal???

Martin

I don't know if this is what CS intended but I can assure you my ACE does the same thing.

Please check the Manual, Part 1, p. 46:
The model variation selections apply to all 757-200 models regardless of the engines type.

That's not good!! That pretty much renders the ACE Utility useless. If I choose to put choose the winglet model on my Continental repaint, I don't want it putting winglets on all my other repaints.

ACE is only for mass changes - and always has been for previous CS products.

For discrete changes you need to change your aircraft.cfg manually livery by livery.  :(
