I used the FS2004 Captain Sim Herc, but I am not sure if it will work on a new PC with Windows 11.  I have read posts and reviews by others stating that the new Herc for FS2020 is not complete in that a lot of cockpit switches do not work (unlike FS2004 version).  Also, cargo view in flight does not work.  Before I purchase the newer version of this aircraft, can someone help me out on the concerns that I have listed here?

@Captain Sim, all I hear are crickets.  Before I make another purchase I would like my concerns addressed.

I wouldn't compare our FS9 and 2024 versions of the C-130. Basically the only thing that they have in common is the C-130 in the product title  :)

Of course, with the FS2004/FS9 C-130 model(s) everything works. I still have FS9 loaded on a Windows 7 computer, and it works fine with that O/S

I no longer have an older PC to run the FS2004 Herc.  I was pleased with that sim as most of the cockpit switches worked.  I am a retired C-130A/E/H/J Crew Chief and retired from Lockheed Martin as well with over 35 years in total.  I saw the "so called" J model by Capt. Sim and the cockpit is still an E/H.  I am very disappointed with Capt. Sim in that they seem to have given up on this aircraft and I cannot even respond to their posts here.  It's like they don't care anymore.  If there is another C-130 sim provider that you know of for Windows 11, please let me know.

After the SU2 public release, I was offered the 2024 native "J" model as an upgrade purchase.  So, that was nice to see and I don't know if it's just coincidence or the release of SU2 was required.

Looking forward to the native 2024 E model.
