Title: Engines shutting off in cruise
Post by TriJetSimPilot on Mar 28th, 2025 at 3:01pm
I've tried to fly it a couple times, even on unlimited fuel, and the engines just die and can't be restarted,am I messing something up that's causing this?

Right hand engine stops during take off in 2024. Works ok in 2020 which is the sim it was designed for. Don’t know why the engine stops in 2024 as all levers, switches are in the same position as 2020.

It will be to do with Fuel lines.  I had to completey redo the engine model, and fuel system for the SPAD to make it work in 2024.  It took 3 hours, so it's just laziness.  There's no reason this shouldn't work in 2024.

Can I ask you if you are flying in 2020 or 2024?  because this is happening in 2024 and I am working on a fix at present.  If it is happening in 2020 as well, then I can make sure I release an appropriate fix for 2020 too.

For me its happening at about 48 minutes into the flight pretty consistently.
