I just got an update to 2.0.0. The trim now seems to be working independently to the elevator; thanks!!  :)

That said, it seems to be working in the opposite sense to that of other aircraft, at least when controlled from an axis. Maybe whack a minus sign in there somewhere at the next update. In the meantime, the issue can be worked around using an alternative controller profile.
