Title: AP Speed? Post by trd.eeyore on Oct 25th, 2023 at 5:05am
Anyone else unable to get above 250 knots? Autothrottles on OR off, the plane seems limited to 249 for me during pretty much any phase of flight...Messing with the AP/AT controls does nothing, I can preselect an airspeed and arm the autothrottles but it remains at 250 KIAS. Anybody else? :o

I have learned that if you change the speed you have to hit the down arrow on the speed knob to get the speed to change to what you entered. I don't think it's supposed to work this way in the real world. Same with the heading if you dial a heading you have to click down on the knob to get the airplane to respond.

In the real world we use push (right-click) and pull (middle-click). Push will set and hold the current value, e.g. heading. Pull will activate the selected mode and the autopilot will follow previously selected value, e.g. heading. The same goes for SPD and ALT. |
