Hello.

I have bought the 777-300 successfully, and I have put it into my community folder (plane is captainsim-aircraft-m773).

Why won't it show up in MSFS as a plane? I can't even use it.

Should the entire "captainsim-aircraft-m773" folder go into Offical > Onestore? Or community? I reinstalled and it still won't work.

It should go into community not official

If you have it on steam

It still won't show up in game at all, and I checked and it is in the community folder.

I've deleted everything from Community except for the 777, and it still won't show up. Any help would be appreciated.

No. You need to change your PC win10 username properly.

Everythig that shortens your path matters.
As soon as your path is under 260 characters you should be good.

My PC username is Jackson. I'm confused about what you're saying.

Alright. I've gone into my registry and changed "LongPathsEnabled" value to 1 (to unlock the limit).

I still cannot open ACE with the same error. Could the problem be that there is a lock on my community folder (although I can still access it, and I'm the administrator)?

Won't make a difference. Even a default MS File Explorer won't work with oversized paths: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cr1uoZV1Aey

You've got 2 options:
a. Shorten a path down to 259 characters or less.
b. Deactivate the software (Start>Captain Sim>777 ACE MSFS2020>DEACTIVATE) and request a refund providing:
- 260RF reference code
- Order number
- Your forum nickname

I have a folder named E:\WpSystem that has the same naming convention (S-1-5-21-407189478-2283906966-1042017628-1001) shown by Jxck.
That folder appeared after I installed MSFS onto the E: drive (E:\Flight Sims\Microsoft Flight Simulator). Although the E:\WpSystem folder is there, the 772 is installed in E:\Flight Sims\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Community\captainsim-aircraft-m772, and 773 is installed into E:\Flight Sims\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Community\captainsim-aircraft-m773, and all the necessary files are in their correct folders.
I can't understand why it would install in the wrong location.

Where is MSFS installed on your D: drive Jxck? Surely not in the D:\WpSystem folder, but if it is, I suggest you install it in E:\Microsoft Flight Simulator. To do that, you will need to uninstall MSFS, then create the Microsoft Flight Simulator folder on your E: drive, then install MSFS into that folder. I know uninstalling/reinstalling MSFS is a big task (I did this upon buying my second 2TB SSD (E: drive) back in May), but if that is the solution to your problem, it will be worth it in the end.

Definitely weird! I also have the E:\WpSystem\S-1-5-21-407189478-2283906966-1042017628-1001\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community folder, but it's empty.
The real question here, is why does it install there.
Out of curiosity, where did you buy your copy of MSFS? Through the Microsoft Store, or somewhere else?

It might be worth asking Asobo (https://forums.flightsimulator.com/c/third-party-addon-discussion/216) why this is happening, as they might have a better idea why it's installing there, and not in your D:\MSFS\Community folder, where it should go. :(

I got it from the 10 disc set.

This is the first time I've encountered a problem. Every other addon works flawlessly.

What selection for "where you purchased MSFS" do you use on the installer before the installation begins? I accidentally used the wrong one on my original install of the 777-200 due to the fact that I thought it was asking where I purchased the add-on itself from, and not where I purchased MSFS from.
For me, it was a simple case of not reading that question properly, because it was the first time an add-on had ask it, and I assumed it was about the add-on itself. I guess I was too eager to get it installed so I could take it for a flight. I'm not sure what the exact result of that was (i.e. it installed but couldn't be seen in the sim, or it didn't install at all).

Were any/all of the others purchased in the Marketplace in MSFS? Or were any/all purchased elsewhere, like the Captain Sim 777-300? I'm asking because the CS 777-200/300 are the only aircraft purchased outside of the MSFS Marketplace, and are installed into my E:\Flight Sims\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Community folder, the other 3 aircraft that I purchased through the MSFS Marketplace appear to be in the E:\Flight Sims\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Official\OneStore folder, as are the default aircraft that come with the MSFS Premium Deluxe edition.

I got all of my other aircraft offsite, not on the official marketplace (goes into community).

Hi, i need some help. I've tried almost everything, but my 777-300 doesn't work properly.
The IRS does not align and the tail is a different color from the rest of the fuselage.
I've tried changing the folder name, shortening the folder name and even installing in a folder outside MSFS. However, in all the message below appears during the installation.
