Title: Paul's V-one gauge for V4 Post by FelixTch on Mar 12th, 2021 at 9:45pm
So after few attempts to make the callouts sounds to work in V4 (and Probably V5) what I did was moving the sounds folder from Prepar3D v4\Captain_Sim\1011 to 1011-II but the sounds didn't worked (they installed by default on 1011 old folder so I moved them to the correct folder), so the next thing I did, I edited the sound.ini inside the 1011-II folder manually and now the callouts work
what I did, I copied the missing sounds into the ini file and rearrange the order of the sounds I suggest you to make a backup to the ini file this is the sounds that you need to add to the ini file, hope it going to help you to get better landings [Sound.648] ;Begin V-One Sounds File=/V-One/sound_check.wav Id=7503 Volume=0.8 [Sound.649] File=/V-One/v-one_BaroSet.wav Id=7521 Volume=1.0 [Sound.650] File=/V-One/v-one_80knots.wav Id=7500 Volume=1.0 [Sound.651] File=/V-One/v-one_V1.wav Id=7501 Volume=1.0 [Sound.652] File=/V-One/v-one_Vr.wav Id=7502 Volume=1.0 [Sound.653] File=/V-One/v-one_GearUp.wav Id=7504 Volume=1.0 [Sound.654] File=/V-One/v-one_FlapsUp.wav Id=7505 Volume=1.0 [Sound.655] File=/V-One/v-one_SlatRetract.wav Id=7506 Volume=1.0 [Sound.656] File=/V-One/v-one_PositiveRate.wav Id=7507 Volume=1.0 [Sound.657] File=/V-One/v-one_AutoFlight.wav Id=7508 Volume=0.8 [Sound.658] File=/V-One/v-one_Flaps5.wav Id=7509 Volume=1.0 [Sound.659] File=/V-One/v-one_Flaps15.wav Id=7510 Volume=1.0 [Sound.660] File=/V-One/v-one_Flaps25.wav Id=7511 Volume=1.0 [Sound.661] File=/V-One/v-one_Flaps30.wav Id=7512 Volume=1.0 [Sound.662] File=/V-One/v-one_Flaps40.wav Id=7513 Volume=1.0 [Sound.663] File=/V-One/v-one_SpoilersDeployed.wav Id=7514 Volume=1.0 [Sound.664] File=/V-One/v-one_60Knots.wav Id=7515 Volume=1.0 [Sound.665] File=/V-One/v-one_RevThrustAvail.wav Id=7516 Volume=1.0 [Sound.666] File=/V-One/v-one_SlatsExtend.wav Id=7517 Volume=1.0 [Sound.667] File=/V-One/v-one_GearDown.wav Id=7518 Volume=1.0 [Sound.668] File=/V-One/v-one_V2Plus10.wav Id=7519 Volume=1.0 [Sound.669] File=/V-One/v-one_TrimWheel.wav Id=7520 Volume=0.7 [Sound.670] File=/V-One/ParkingBrakeSet.wav Id=7522 Volume=0.8 [Sound.671] File=/V-One/ParkingBrakeRelease.wav Id=7523 Volume=0.8 [Sound.672] File=/V-One/v-one_Vref.wav Id=7524 Volume=1.0 [Sound.673] File=/V-One/v-one_VrefPlus5.wav Id=7525 Volume=1.0 [Sound.674] File=/V-One/v-one_VrefPlus15.wav Id=7526 Volume=1.0 [Sound.675] File=/V-One/FPDA_Boeing_10FT.wav Id=7527 Volume=1.0 [Sound.676] File=/V-One/FPDA_Boeing_20FT.wav Id=7528 Volume=1.0 [Sound.677] File=/V-One/FPDA_Boeing_30FT.wav Id=7529 Volume=1.0 [Sound.678] File=/V-One/FPDA_Boeing_40FT.wav Id=7530 Volume=1.0 [Sound.679] File=/V-One/FPDA_Boeing_50FT.wav Id=7531 Volume=1.0 [Sound.680] File=/V-One/FPDA_Boeing_100FT.wav Id=7532 Volume=1.0 [Sound.681] File=/V-One/FPDA_Boeing_200FT.wav Id=7533 Volume=1.0 [Sound.682] File=/V-One/FPDA_Boeing_300FT.wav Id=7534 Volume=1.0 [Sound.683] File=/V-One/FPDA_Boeing_400FT.wav Id=7535 Volume=1.0 [Sound.684] File=/V-One/500.wav Id=7536 Volume=1.0 [Sound.685] File=/V-One/1000.wav Id=7537 Volume=1.0 [Sound.686] File=/V-One/2500.wav Id=7538 Volume=1.0 [Sound.687] File=/V-One/Minimums.wav Id=7539 Volume=1.0 [Sound.688] File=/V-One/Appmins.wav Id=7540 Volume=1.0 [Sound.689] File=/V-One/v-one_Flaps10.wav Id=7541 Volume=1.0 [Sound.690] File=/V-One/v-one_Flaps18.wav Id=7542 Volume=1.0 [Sound.691] File=/V-One/v-one_Flaps22.wav Id=7543 Volume=1.0 [Sound.692] File=/V-One/v-one_Flaps33.wav Id=7544 Volume=1.0 [Sound.693] File=/V-One/v-one_Flaps42.wav Id=7545 Volume=1.0 |

I just upgraded to 5.2 and when I reinstalled the L1011 but before installing Paul's gauge, my last entry was:
[Sound.651] ;cargo door main File=cargo_door.wav Id=3700026 Volume=0.5 So, I had to renumber the V-One additions to the config file beginning with 652. My old config file I had saved started at 648, too, so not sure where I picked up four extras, but it would not work until I changed it. Now it works in 5.2. (Still have to make sure the path is right, though, as described in the other thread.) Now I'm going to try to figure out what I did wrong with the Total Overhaul mod for the 737-200 in 5.2, because I had it working in 5.1. |
