Hallo,

when using the automatic sequencing of the flightplan pages, how can I determine which page is being used initially?
I loaded a flightplan from GCLP to EDDL and when enabling the green dot the INS jumps to page 4 instead of page 1.
What can I do?

It's supposed to run through the waypoints consecutively, but I find your problem interesting. If the screw is amber, to signify that there is more than 9 waypoints, it will/should automatically start the next Page. The same applies to the green light.

I don't usually click on the screw if it's amber, and here is what happens to me:

Once the L-1011 II finishes the Page 1 Wapoint 9 to Page 2 Waypoint 1 leg (91 on the FROM-TO Display), and is supposed to start the Page 2 Waypoint 1 to Page 2 Waypoint 2 leg, it reverts to the Page 1 Waypoint 1 to Page 1 Waypoint 2 leg. When I get to the Page 3 Waypoint 1 to Page 3 Waypoint 2 leg, it again reverts to the Page 1 Waypoint 1 to Page 1 Waypoint 2 leg. This occurs for each new page in the route (up to 6 pages for me so far). The L-1011 II on the otherhand, still follows the route all the way to the Arrival Airport. This happens with any route I load that has 10 or more waypoints.

I will have to test it with the green light on to see what happens.

Here are some screenshots to illustrate the problem.
As soon as I press the green dot, it jumps the another page. This only appears on the second flight. How can I change the pages?

I did a flight yesterday using the green light, and the only difference to the problem I'm having, is that the the Page 2 Waypoint 1 to Page 2 Waypoint 2, is highlighted as the current leg, yet the magenta line, and the distances displayed, are as if the aircraft is flying the Page 1 Waypoint 1 to Page 1 Waypoint 2 leg.

This one is from a flight back from AYT to DUS, second flight of the session.
When loaded into the sim, the INS switched to page 5 although still on the ground in Antalya.
How can I change the pages being depicted by the INS?

Please download and install this hotfix 1002 and let us know if everything works as it should.

Hotfix 1002 didn't make any difference for me, so I uninstalled the L-1011, then reinstalled it, then installed the hotfix 1002, and it still didn't work.

It still flies the route fine, except that the distance to the final destination get further and further away with eac new page.

When you will load the next (second, third and so on) flightplan, it reset the internal page counter in the CIVA. This is fixed.

You can't. Even though the Captain Sim INS has the unrealistic ability to load, and change pages when there are more than 10 waypoints, in reality, the real CIV-A INS could never have more than the 10 waypoints entered, and as waypoints were past you manually entered the new waypoints needed to continue the route.
i.e. When flying leg 7-8 of the route, you then manually entered the new waypoints in waypoint numbers 1 through 6, so that when the INS started the  9-1 leg, waypoint 1 would ahead, not behind, in the route.
If you have ever used the SimuFly CIV-A INS, you would probably already know, and understand, this functionality better. ;)

Paging was created by us to improve usability and convenience. In fact, CIVA has only one page, which has 9 points, so regular means to fly from a waypoint on one page to the waypoint on another page is impossible.
If you do not plan to use intermediate points, you can simply delete them. This is done in the following steps:
- press the REPAIR button
- select waypoint number on the Waypoint Selector
- press CLEAR
- the REPAIR button will turn off

Within one page you can use standard procedure, described in the manual.

One little note: you can use Captain Sim CIV-A the exact same way as SimuFly - just forget about paging and use only 9 waypoints as in the real CIV-A.
