Title: EPR switches off

During take-off run the EPR switches off. I follow the procedure to advance throttle top 1.1 and apply EPR which does comes on. However at aprox 80 kts, the EPR switches off for no apparent reason.
Any help is appreciated.

Does the EPR switch on the MCP go off or just the annunciation on the EADI?
