I did several flights around the Ksea area using low and high alt vor intersections. On average the Accuracy Index began to climb at five minutes and reach nine by forty minutes. At eight the heading starts to jump around. I'm guessing maybe this is the way the gauge is coded so that we learn the procedure to correct it.
