As stated, yes I installed the P3D version of course (I didn't spent another €30 just to install the FSX version, hehe ;)). And yes, I know which switches to use, I've had the CS 777 since 0.8 or 0.9 :).

I think there is some sort of bug in their installer(s) that causes it to not register correctly, or the addon does not read the proper reg info or something.

Otherwise I don't know how to explain the fact that it gives me no errors during install but then throws these anti-piracy measures in my face when I load the aircraft :(. Especially on a fresh, clean Windows install.
