I got that email too, and I almost posted about it myself, until I realised it was April 1st. ;) So you weren't the only one who was fooled! :o ;D

As much as I wish it was true too.  But I do question the timing and if Microsoft really wanted to do 2014 then we wouldn't of been given Microsoft Flight.  If flopped faster than Windows 8 did.

I think they got Microsoft Flight very wrong. They did not want to hear what the fans wanted. I have been Flight Simming since 1984 (on a Commodore 64), and to see what it is like in FSX, then to see them go backwards so badly with Flight. I was bitterly disappointed with MS.

It is possible that they could take Flight Sim up again, they are a very wealthy company and their next version could be done from scratch and improved dramatically with all new coding.

We can always hope/dream. ;D
