Title: C130 for FSX + Shocwave
Post by wingclip on Sep 11th, 2013 at 10:12pm
Hi Folks,
I've found a Shockwave light config setup for the C130 but it's in the A2A site under "FS9". Anyone know of a good one for the FSX version?
Thanks, Rich

A little observation note: The CS 130 for FS9 is appaerently VERY different from the FSX version. After looking over the lights on the FSX version, I just don't know what to think.

Below, is the Shockwave FS9 C130 light setup as listed by someone in the A2A site. If any of you look at the Aircraft.cfg file for the FSX C130, I think you'll see that there is NO resemblence (the statement that follows is from the person who posted):

[lights]
// Navigation
light.0 = 3, 0.76, -66.80, -1.00, cs130_navred
light.1 = 3, 0.77, 66.80, -1.00, cs130_navgre
light.2 = 3, -58.25, 0, -2.10, cs130_nav_whi_double
light.3 = 3, 11.75, 0, -15.55, fx_navwhi
light.4 = 7, 0.76, -66.80, -1.00, cs130_nav_red_flash
light.5 = 7, 0.77, 66.80, -1.00, cs130_nav_gre_flash
light.6 = 7, -58.25, 0, -2.10, cs130_nav_whi_flash_double
light.7 = 7, 11.75, 0, -15.55, cs130_nav_whi_flash
// Anti_Collision
light.8 = 1, 23.24, 0.00, -15.59, fx_beacon
light.9 = 1, 5.29, 0.00, -1.47, fx_beacon
light.10 = 1, -48.59, 0.00, 21.70, fx_beacon
light.11 = 2, 0.01, 0.01, 0.01, cs130_strobe
light.12 = 6, 3.50, 8.30, -14.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down
light.13 = 6, 3.50,-8.30, -14.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down
// IR and Fuel Dump
//light.14 = 9, -16, 0, -10, cs130_ir
//light.15 = 10, -7, 0, 0, cs130_fdump
light.14 = 5, 2.76, -24.4, -3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light
light.15 = 5, 2.76, 24.4, -3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light
//Cabin
light.16 =4, 33.00, -1.75, -6.00, cs130_vcwt
light.17 =4, 33.00, 1.75, -6.00, cs130_vcwt
light.18 = 4, 0.00, 0.00, -3.80, cs130_cabin

works well with some limitations;

I had to re-use the light 14 and 15 for landing lights; so there are no more fuel dump or IR flare available. the C130 do not accept more than 18 lights

Be sure to have IRflares and Fuel dump effect checked in ACE utility

See this topic: http://captainsim.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1253827436 It's all about setting up the A2A Lights Redux in the C-130. ;)

Hello,

nathans config do not work 100% and the fx_shockwave_taxi do not exist in the Shockwave 3D Redux version 1.2a!

I use my own config as followed:

gaugeXX=shockwave_lights!SW Lights, 1,1,1,1 //shockwave light

[lights]
; X, Z, Y
light.0 = 3, 1.85, -65.90, -1.00, fx_shockwave_navred
light.1 = 3, 1.85, 65.90, -1.00, fx_shockwave_navgre
light.2 = 3, 0.78, -66.90, -1.00, cs130_nav_red_flash
light.3 = 3, 0.78, 66.90, -1.00, cs130_nav_gre_flash
light.4 = 3, -58.25, 0, -2.10, cs130_nav_whi_double
light.5 = 7, -58.25, 0, -2.10, cs130_nav_whi_flash_double
light.6 = 7, 11.75, 0, -15.55, cs130_nav_whi_flash
light.7 = 3, 11.75, 0, -15.55, fx_shockwave_navwhi
// Anti_Collision
light.8 = 6, 3.50, 8.30, -14.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down
light.9 = 6, 3.50,-8.30, -14.10, fx_shockwave_landing_light_narrow_down
light.10 = 1, 23.24, 0.00, -15.59, fx_shockwave_beaconb
light.11 = 1, 5.29, 0.00, -1.47, fx_shockwave_beacon
light.12 = 1, -48.59, 0.00, 21.70, fx_shockwave_beaconh
light.13 = 2, 5.29, 0.00, -1.47, fx_shockwave_strobe
// IR and Fuel Dump
//light.14 = 9, -16, 0, -10, cs130_ir
//light.15 = 10, -7, 0, 0, cs130_fdump
light.14 = 5, 2.76, -24.4, -3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light
light.15 = 5, 2.76, 24.4, -3.5, fx_shockwave_landing_light
//Cabin
light.16 =4, 33.00, -1.75, -6.00, cs130_vcwt
light.17 =4, 33.00, 1.75, -6.00, cs130_vcwt
light.18 =4, 0.00, 0.00, -3.80, cs130_cabin

Regards
Michael

No worries. I had seen it discussed before, so I found it and pointed it out to wingclip.

I never used the settings myself, so I didn't know which version of it Nathan was using in his settings. :-/
