Found this pic the other day. Turns out out my dad flew her as a first officer in his TAA days.

I flew on a TAA 727-200 from Melbourne to Adelaide and return back in 1983/84. they were great flights too.

I remember when I was young flying on one to. My dad wasn't flying, we were going on holidays to Melbourne. Still remember the sound of the JT8D engines.

The one thing I remember about my return flight from Adelaide to Melbourne was that we took off just after sunset. Looking out one side of the plane and it was daylight, look out the other side and it was night! My friend and I were bowled over by that. Neither of us had seen anything like that before. ;D
