Title: Re: Takeoff Speeds Post by Adam_UK on Apr 21st, 2013 at 11:28am Adam_UK wrote on Apr 9th, 2013 at 1:02am:
Okay... So I tried it in the 737-100. The gauge (graphics etc.) work perfectly. The speeds generated worked fine for take off and landing also. If you're a true perfectionist you might argue that these aren't the CORRECT speeds though... but for somebody who loves simming and doesn't actually know what the correct speeds should be, they work just fine! As an aside, I am not able to hear sound from the gauge. Not sure if anybody else has had this issue? I have read previous accounts on here and these seem to mention an error / windows error 'ding' noises... I don't get these. I get no errors at all. And no call outs either! The click spot for the sound check produces no sound either. This is the case for the 737-200, ADV and 100. Has anybody else come across this or have a fix? I've double checked my file edits and they seem to be as per the instructions (and I've done it twice now, once for 200 and once for 100, so unlikely to have made the same error twice unless I'm misunderstanding instructions!). Any ideas appreciated! Brilliant gauge though - even without sound. Kind regards, Adam |
