Not sure if this would help with your 707 creeping problem, but the one thing I did find with W8 is that the default Windows GUI calibration for my throttle was way off compared to W7. The only way I could get the full back (X52) idle setting I needed was to calibrate my throttle through FSUIPC. I'm using a Saitek X52 set-up. In W7, I didn't need FSUIPC to have the throttles at full back position low enough to idle correctly. When I installed W8, I was seeing some creeping on aircraft at full back (X52) and when I checked the Windows calibration GUI, it showed that the default setting was much higher than in W7. FAC257 |
