actually evan with 19,000lbs its still over powered.. the regular 737 only had ~14,500lbs of thrust and burned about .51-.52lbs of fuel per pound of thrust
the 737-200 advanced version had about 17,400lbs of thrust and im guna guess that same fuel burn rate per thrust.. but you have to remember the regular 737-200 is only rated for 110,000-115,500lbs and the advanced is rated for around 128,000lbs so it would need to extra thrust to make it out of the same airports... the only engines that can put out more then 17,400lbs of thrust are the JT8D-200 series witch as far as i know there is not record of them being put on a 737-200 witch is a pitty because im sure that a derated one by 1,000lbs to 17,500lbs would be nice for a advanced version with its reduced fuel burn btw the V-one gage is quite a nice little tool, one thing you might wana add to it though would be checklist page to it maybe for basic opp's |
