Acceleration is part of my FSX version (Gold Edition). It's true I got the CS F/A-18 along with the Weapon for FSX installation. The green logo in the aircraft preview means the Weapon has been already installed. That's what I call a pre-installation which provides all the Weapon features including the VC HUD.

I did not install Weapon yet in the default F/A-18 which is already fitted with the default FSX VC HUD. To do it, I need to run the Weapon Loader. Wrong or right ?

That's the reason why I think there might be a typo page 12 of the manual talking about the Weapon VC HUD
