I hope the guy who lives in the 727 makes his look a little more welcoming, like the hotel one! His was in need of some "repair".

It's interesting alright, I myself would invest in a facade/terminal so the homeowners association doesn't through a fit. It'll look like an ordinary house on the front, but the foyer would lead to a jetway (with a custom weatherproof seal to the aircraft.) The facade would have large windows looking over the aircraft so that it still serves as a conversation piece.

A $200 000 conversation piece with 3 JT8D jet engines that you can live in. That's the cream of all conversation pieces  ;D

You got to build and use air conditioning system. So you'll get high bill for electricity.

You got to build drainage. You got to build gas pipes to kitchen.

You cant just open any window (unless you modified em), and in a daytime - there is not much light actually. You cant really enjoy sunsets unless you build something like in that hotel up in the posts. and its expensive.

It's cool to have it, but it's uncool to live in it all the time :)

And conversion to sim takes a lot of money. Dude in Project727 made gauges using LCD display. Its too expensive to motorize and control real gauges.

Is it even possible to take your love for aviation too far?  :'(

I wonder if they have to have annuals, and, what do they cost?
