I gave the INS another try and I think it was just my fault by switching from ALIGN to NAV a bit too early. Ready light was not on yet :-[
Doppler is still causing trouble. After takeoff I turned it on and set DNS to STBY. The aircraft flew a hdg of 040 and I randomly entered HDG060/20NM into slot A and HDG037/50NM into slot B. Slot selector was neutral and NAV switch set to Doppler. Then I switched the DNS from STBY to AUTO, selected slot A and set the autopilot to NAV. Instead of turning right hdg060 the aircraft turned left hdg360.... DNS course reads 060 with 0 miles to go and 0 offset miles to right...
I don't know what I'm doing wrong in this case!?
