Hello!
Sorry to post this question but I think I read the topics dealing with INS and Doppler, but found no solution... (and I'm new to the 707)

First of all if I follow the steps described in this forum (and the manual of course) to set up and use Doppler, the autopilot always directs me to hdg 360 and "miles to go" reads 0. So basically I can't use Doppler for navigation no matter what I try.

Now and then the INS will also refuse to work as expected. Until takeoff it is aligned and running fine, but then its current position suddenly is off by several hundred miles thus turning the aircraft into a false direction. I tried to update the position via DME, but also with no success (INS updating panel not present, so maybe an installation fault?).

Any ideas how to fix these problems?
