It took a while, but I was able to climb the 2 seat amphibian up to 14,000 feet and get a look at the observatory at Mauna Kea.
I've been there in real life and will be there next week again when I'm on vacation in Kona. It is very cool to walk around the observatories and be at 14,000+ feet. You do everything a bit slower. A small rise in the road is a big hill to your lungs.
I still like the way the planes fly in FSX, but for something free, I guess it's not bad. I wonder why they changed most of the keyboard commands? I'll keep playing with the game and even try out some of the other planes.
