So I know that Captain Sim is extremely busy right now... but with the first commercial flight of the 787 the other day, it got me thinking that a good add-on company should design one for fsx. (I know some other company made one a long time ago, but it is nothing close to Captain Sim quality ;))

Just a point for discussion and good luck with the other projects right now!

With the 787 being such a new aircraft, it would be very difficult to create a good addon for it. Remember, CS needs to get accurate flight dynamics, textures, and systems, and with only one 787 flying around with ANA, that's just not feasible for the moment. It would be nice to see one in the coming years, though.

That low quality 787 is the Abacus one. You know the standard they set - low quality, over priced, not FPS friendly (lags and jerks a lot), major glitches (such as the fin rudder - that TILTS [!WTF!]) and basic soundset.

The A380 is better by Abacus, mainly because of a decent enough model, not too overpriced, full interior and cabin, around 50 liveries included, and the -800(F) and conceptual -700 and -900 variants. But there is still a lack of quality in all Abacus models.
