Hi all,
I was flying the NGX and setting up my MFD, and I saw the Weather button. another company doesn't have a weather radar, so it bring me to this question. Will the CS Weather Radar work in the another company 737NGX? I have 707 and 767, and they both have the Radar, could it be possible to transfer the Radar into the NGX?

The weather radar will work in anything--but it's just a panel (i.e. it won't appear in the VC).

No, that won't work. You can install the Radar as a popup via the CS WR installer app, but you won't get it into the NGX as a main display background (on e. g. the ND) in the VC.

In theory, you could search a free spot in the panel of the NGX and place the gauge there, but that's more than a simple copy job and it might not work well since the 3D model interferes with the gauge at some points.
Even more in theory, the lower DU may be a place for the WR to work since it's flat and offers an area to easily place another gauge. You would have to trial&error a bit though.

Don't worry, no harm done.  :) They may move this thread either way.
Maybe you can post some screens over there if you succeed getting the WR into the panel. As said, that lower DU may be a possible tradeoff solution and also offers a flat space for another gauge.

Well, the bottom part of that is used for an extended engine display, I may just have to use it as a pop-up. It would be nice to make it more realistic, but with a Captain Sim Touch  ;)
